Kindred & Core was born out of a newly pregnant mom-to-be’s need to find relief for her itchy skin. When she finally found something that helped, the product was too pricey to allow for daily use. So, she reverse-engineered it. Then improved it - using her 30+ years of experience in environmental research, data management, and Fortune 500 corporate sustainability experience.
This brand was created to solve a problem, not just to turn a profit. We use these products ourselves and want to see our ethos become the norm.

Many personal care brands (even “clean” ones) sell you products that are up to 80% water or fillers, and require synthetic chemicals like stabilizers, preservatives and parabens. Many “organic” or “natural” products include non-organic ingredients. We chose another path. Our hand-crafted small batch products are waterless and use 100% USDA certified organic ingredients.
We aren’t stopping there. We can always be better. Now, we are committed to transitioning to a 100% verified slavery-free supply chain.

100% Active, Waterless Bases: We completely eliminate water or filler ingredients. Every drop of our moisturizers and scrubs deliver concentrated skin nutrition and care.
Transitioning to Verified Slavery-Free Sourcing: We deliberately prioritize Fair for Life or Fair Trade Certified™ sources for the ingredients most vulnerable to human trafficking in the global market. We are transitioning to a baseline mandate by 2030 for 100% of our ingredients to either carry rigorous third-party certification or be grown and processed in regions with strictly enforced labor protections (e.g., US, EU, UK, Canada).
Radical Organic Standards: Our formulations remain 100% USDA certified organic down to the organic Vitamin E oil.
Biodegradable, Recyclable, Compostable Infrastructure: We are aggressively transitioning to 100% plastic-free, zero-waste product packaging. We currently have a small amount of plastic in our lid liners that we are working to remove while preventing leakage. All shipping materials are paper-based, compostable, and restricted exclusively to ground transit to minimize carbon emissions in our supply chain.
